AFJROTC Uniform items BPA [FA330024Q9111]
A Blanket Purchase Agreement, or BPA, is a simplified method of filling anticipated repetitive needs for supplies or services by establishing "charge accounts" with qualified sources of supply. It is important to note that there is no guarantee that the Government will place any order. The Government will not be liable in the event no call orders are placed. BPAs are designed to reduce administrative costs in accomplishing small purchases by eliminating the need for negotiating individual orders. In other words, the Government uses BPA's when it knows it will need a basic requirement over and over, but can't say for sure when or how many of the items will be required. Each order is called a call order.
This is a pre-priced BPA issued by the 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base as an acquisition tool for supplying the Holm Center's Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) with mandatory uniform items and accoutrements. This agreement is effective upon the signature of the Contracting Officer and will expire 30 September 2029.
