DA1903 Assembly Instructions

Barrel / Receiver Subassembly

Parts needed:

Instructions:

  1. Slip DAS7 onto DAS311. Make sure that DAS7 is oriented with lip in direction of barrel.
  2. Press Pin #42 into DAS311 capturing DAS7 behind pin. Pin # 42 goes in with knurled end first.
  3. Insert barrel, DAS13, into round end of DAS311. Barrel end with larger pin hole (for Pin #41) goes in first. Tap barrel in opening until the hole in the DAS13 aligns with the hole in the DAS311. Hammer pin #41 to secure the DAS13 and DAS311.
  4. Slide DAS15 on open barrel end with rounded bottom slide facing front.
  5. Tap DAS14 onto barrel end until holes align. Hammer pin #40 to secure front sight.

Assemble Barrel / Receiver Subassembly with Base Stock DAS1

Parts needed:

Instructions:

  1. Align barrel / receiver subassembly with DAS1 stock.
  2. Insert DAS8 below DAS1 and use screws #50 and #40 to commence connecting the parts [only start the screws for position, do not tighten].
  3. Slip DAS19 and DAS17 bands over the end of the barrel behind the DAS15.
  4. Place DAS12 hand guard over the barrel and capture the larger end of the DAS12 under the lip of the hand guard ring, DAS7.
  5. Slide the DAS19 up to the mid level of the DAS12.
  6. Slide the DAS17 over the top of the hand guard, DAS12.
  7. With the hand guard, DAS12 under the hand guard ring, DAS7, tighten screws #49 and #50. This secures hand guard in the back.
  8. Slide DAS15 over the end of the DAS1 until the holes align. This to secure hand guard in the front.
  9. Insert Pin #51.

Final Assembly

Parts needed:

Instructions:

  1. Insert DAS20 into DAS19 band and tighten with screw DAS45.
  2. Insert DAS16 into DAS17 band and tighten with screw DAS45.
  3. Place DAS6 , rear swivel spacer in slot at the rear and bottom of DAS1.
  4. Capture the Rear swivel plate ring with the rear swivel and secure with two DAS44 screws.
  5. Align DAS2, butt plate over back of DAS1 and secure with two screws DAS46.
  6. Insert spring, DAS43 into the back opening of DAS311. Make sure the spring slides down the opening.
  7. Insert DAS4 into the back of the DAS311 until it stops. You should feel some spring resistance from the DAS43.
  8. With DAS4 in open position, insert bolt stop screw, DAS47, into the DAS4. Only hands tighten the screw 3/4 of the way in. Bolt should now be able to close and open smoothly.
  9. Align DAS5 with the top of DAS311 and secure with screws DAS48 (2) [3mm Allen head].
